Beacon Hill is a transitional living program for Alaska's homeless mothers with children.  We are a grass roots organization, funded entirely through private donations.  Beacon Hill is made up of two homes that can house up to five families.  These homes sit on two private acres of land and provide safety, community and a chance to heal.

Beacon Hill reaches a portion of Anchorage's most
vulnerable, yet most likely to become self-sufficient single moms with children who are:

• employed

• sober

• willing to participate in mentoring relationships

Our Mission

Beacon Hill is a Christ-centered organization for homeless women with children that provides a temporary home and teaches sustainable life skills developed through relationship.

The goals of The goals and objectives of Beacon Hill are:

• To provide safe, temporary housing for 4-5single mothers and their children (up to 32 beds) while they are stepping up from their current situation and stepping into self sufficiency.
