OUR MISSION STATEMENT:  Providing a temporary home, life skills,
and mentorship to Anchorage's homeless women and children
through the love of Christ.
According to statistics from the Anchorage School District, an estimated 1,176
homeless children live in Anchorage at any one time.  300 of these children are
between the ages of 3-6 years.
With shelters all over Anchorage so over capacity that they are having to turn women
and families away, Beacon Hill is hoping to help in a small, yet significant, way.

The goals and objectives of Beacon Hill are:

  •   To provide safe, temporary housing for 4-5 single mothers and their
children (up to 32 beds) while they are stepping up from their current
situation and stepping into self sufficiency.

  •   To connect Guests to necessary support services.

  •   To provide mentorship and true community.
