to the community, supporting parents when they need help most
so children remain safe and family bonds stay strong.
When parents face a crisis, vetted and trained volunteers act like extended family, providing short-term, safe hosting for children and supportive relationships for parents.
By filling gaps in social support before a situation becomes critical, Safe Families helps households remain intact and prevents unnecessary foster care involvement.
